About the Author
E. Shashi Menon, P.E., has over 29 years' experience in the oil and gas industry, holding positions as design engineer, project engineer, engineering manager, and chief engineer for major oil and gas companies in the United States. He is the author of Liquid Pipeline Hydraulics and several technical papers. He has taught engineering and computer courses, and is also developer and co-author of over a dozen PC software programs for the oil and gas industry. Mr. Menon lives in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Excellent organisation

Very to the point and well organized reference book. Author has managed to pinpoint what is essential when you are in a hurry and want to refresh your memory without getting buried in a "my equation is bigger than yours" kind of debate.

Excellent book, congratulations to the author!

Thank you thank thank you for whoever wrote this excellent guide to Piping calculations. The formulae and calculations are shown with great clarity and easy to follow + use in the field. If you couple this with a CAD program such as the one by Hercule Design then you are on a sure fire winner. Well done!

Found a Typo

This really isn't a review of the book. Just a place to let the author - or somebody who can get to the author - know that I believe there is a typo on pg 455 on the Temp. derate factors. I'm thinking the T factor for the 350 degree F & 177 degree C should be .933 and not .033. I only looked briefly through it on-line, all I can say is it helped me out and was easy to follow!! I'm thinking of going to get one after I'm done writing this.
