New book is a must-have for worship leaders everywhere!

This book is not only timely but very much appreciated in an ever changing and evolving mix of ages and races in the Christian church. Choosing music to meet the needs of everyone in a given church group, is a way to honor God by ministering to each of His children. The people must choose to be gracious and understanding, knowing they will get to hear what ministers to them while supporting the needs of those that may have a different need than their own. This book is a new must-have for every church leader that knows they are called to minister to the worship needs of every person in their care.

Seems like a great book.

I bought this for my son for next year (4th grade). He's a reluctant writer and still doesn't understand how to make a paragraph "flow". I like the pages that start a paragraph and have the child fill in the rest, giving 2 or 3 more sentence starters throughout (pgs. 64-69). I think this will help teach him to write more fluidly and not make it sound like he is making lists.

The book touches on complete and incomplete sentences, subjects and predicates, kinds of sentences, combining sentences, complex sentences, beginning sentences with a clause, adding details, using figurative language, and using similes, metaphors, personification, and alliteration. All of that is fit into the first ~1/3 of the book and the rest is about building paragraphs. This is definitely not a book for younger students just learning to write, unless you have other material to supplement the building blocks leading up to writing paragraphs. This book does not focus on spelling, and only a little on grammar and punctuation. It's more about learning to write in an engaging way. It also includes writing webs and how to organize details in paragraphs.

Really helped my son

I bought this for my 9 year old becuase although he was off hte charts inr eadin and spelling test etc.. he teachers fo thte past 2 years have mentioned he is not creative enough.. writing is nto his thing and he bores easily. We did a chapter every few days and because he didnt want to bother with it anymore he started doing better with his scentences ( creatively) at school. P-T conference last week confirmed it. Mission accomplished.

I moved to L.A. from Indiana to pursue everyone's Hollywood dream of becoming an actor. I had, and continue to have, reasonable expectations. I understood it was imperative to learn the business side of things. You need to know not just how to act, but as the book says, how to become an actor. I read this book my first month in L.A. It provides invaluable advice on topics including resumes, cover letters, auditions and representation, among other things. I highly recommend this book to any and all actors out there. For new actors, you will receive necessary practical information. And for experienced actors, it never hurts to have as many perspectives on the business as possible.

Received the Kindle version yesterday and stayed up till 3am finishing it. Explains so much about the FBI investigation and Comey.

I knew the Obama's and Clintons hated each other but not how deep it went. Obama also hates Comey ("worst mistake of his Presidency") and initially wanted FBI to recommend indictment... But he couldn't convince Biden to run. Thus the flip and reluctant phony endorsement for Hillary. Now BO is campaigning for her as if he's running for a third term.

Hillary cusses like a drunken sailor in private and the book reveals the dysfunctional Clinton family and the true nature of Chelsea - Wow. And of course there's Hillary's weird relationship with
Huma...

It's been a long time since I read a book in one day. Seeing what Trump is up against (Trump covered briefly), it will be a miracle if he gets elected. But I still believe in miracles...

No Indictment??????

I started this book yesterday, and finished it this morning. Once you start it, you will find yourself not wanting to put it down.
I wanted not only answers, but what went on behind the scenes as to "WHY" no indictment.
I was one of many who watched James Comey make his case in listing everything his team of investigators found out during the year long investigation of Hillary's home server, and her reckless mishandling of some of our Country's most sensitive Classified info, along with her personal stuff.
When Comey concluded that there would be no indictment, my mouth totally dropped. I wanted to know how could he reach this conclusion??
When you read this book, the author lays out precise interviews of those close to the Clintons, and events as they unfolded.
I was so angry at Comey, and thought he lacked the courage and "other" things (ahem) to appear as to not standing up for the Laws, and caving in to political pressure. By reading this book, you will find out exactly "who" and "why" Comey had to do a total 180 and allow Hillary a pass.
I'm still angry at Comey for not doing the right thing, and standing for the Laws and not Politics! Hillary brought this on herself, and it isn't a right -wing conspiracy, political theater, or waste of taxpayers money, to get to the truth. We need answers, and not have those close to Hillary taking the "5th", Whenever, I hear that, I can't help but think "what are they hiding?"
Anyone who doesn't agree, needs to see how dangerous it is for America to go down this road. It shouldn't matter if you are a Democrat,
NO ONE SHOULD BE ABOVE THE LAW!!!!!

While the major focus of this work is spotlighting the actions of a few individuals, it shines a light on the pervasiveness of immorality which dominates our news almost every day.

Solid Advice

Great book. Gets right to the point with simple, practical action steps for handling depression. The advice is sound, straightforward and easy to follow. No fluff or platitudes that minimize the seriousness of this affliction, but common sense suggestions and strategies for what to do when depression appears. The author looks at energy, energy depletion and energy conservation, and it's a refreshing way to approach depression. Highly recommend this book. There is genuine help within the pages from an author familiar with the terrain.

Best book on depression ever!

I have read several different self-help books, but this one is by far my favorite and the best I've ever read. I think everyone should read it, even those who don't have depression (there's a chapter aimed at support people). The author isn't a doctor or mental health professional or anything like that. He's just another person who has depression. He's a comrade-in-arms to those of us also struggling with depression and he wrote this book to share what he has learned throughout his own battle with it. I love the metaphors he uses and I found myself grinning several times while reading. He does swear a lot, if that wasn't obvious from the title, but if that doesn't bother you or you are able to look past it, I highly suggest reading this book.
